Dr. Bombard floats on the ocean in a tiny boat. He has been wrecked. Now he is drifting, alone. There are two oars in the boat, but he does not use them. It is more reasonable to go with the flow and hope that some ship will rescue him.
In the meantime, he shares his journey with whales, swarms of flying fish and fierce sharks. Believe or not, there are also moments of calm, observation and fulfillment.
At the end of the book, the reader will find more information about the different marine animals that appear in the story and also a short introduction of Dr. Bombard, who was the true inspiration for this precious book.
